Successful Mega Field Day on Sweet Pepper in Rajasthan
A vibrant atmosphere filled the air as around 400 enthusiastic farmers gathered for the Mega Field Day organized on sweet pepper crop in Basedi village, Rajasthan. The event, held on 27th February 2024, was a resounding success, bringing together farmers, experts, and the chief guest esteemed Vice-chancellor of Jobner Agriculture University, Dr. Balraj Singh.
The event was a knowledge-sharing platform where technical information about sweet pepper cultivation was disseminated. Our Crop Specialist provided valuable insights, best practices, and modern techniques to enhance crop yield and quality.
Participants had the opportunity to explore an actual sweet pepper field, providing them with a practical understanding of the cultivation process. The farmers actively engaged with the experts, exchanging experiences, asking questions, and gaining practical knowledge. It is of immense pride for us to witness the increasing participation of female farmers in such events.
The event concluded on a delicious note with a spread of local cuisine. All the participants enjoyed a hearty lunch, providing an opportunity for networking and informal discussions. The collaborative efforts of farmers, experts, and the esteemed chief guest made it a memorable occasion.
As the sun set over Basedi, it marked not just the end of an eventful day but the beginning of a new chapter in RZ sweet pepper cultivation in Rajasthan.
